This excellent post can be helpful to all areas in life where bullying occurs. As children are so innocent and often not equipped with the inner strength to deal with bullying, I can see how extremely important it is for parents, teachers, others who are in a supportive role to help children learn how truly wonderful they are. This is a brief comment, but an appeal to those involved with children to become more aware of the need to inspire children to their potential. Let's all help to encourage "our children"!

I love what you said. Gave me an idea for another article! Thanks for commenting. Maintaining is the key and it is the most challenging. I definitely feel more needs to be written about this side of living.

I think people are so focused on the "die" it - that they forget that once they have reached their goals they need to turn it into a "live" it. I can't take credit for that wording but it certainly makes one think about what life changes we have to make to maintain the goal that you've reached - stopping the yo-yo. This isn't the sexy part of life.. Hang in there we love this and do share it with others...

Sometimes it's hard because you are walking around in a body that you aren't used to. I know that sounds odd but things like - where did my hips go? I need them to hula hoop - it's really much harder to do without them (oh, and I have to work harder which is the point of exercise). And the wrinkles that I didn't have when I weighed more - my makeup routine has to change, but then again it's been a routine and probably needs to change also. Another thing - rings, wedding rings had to be taken down a full size - who knew even your fingers were going to be impacted. I have a ring that I know isn't worth sizing but it's sentimental value means I will spend the money so I can continue to enjoy it. Getting used to all of this takes time and energy - and discipline, and loving the "new" you.
